1. I checked myself into District Health Office of Kuala Krai on July 20 which was also my nephew's 9th birthday.
2. Am glad with the surroundings and almost all people there are very friendly and welcoming.
3. Me and other 3 girls were placed temporarily at the Communicable Disease Control (CDC) Unit. We didn't do anything except laughing and joking with the CDC officers for 2 weeks while sorting out those Typhoid, Rubella, TB patients' files.
4. Not to mention that the place are male dominated. Some middle aged married guys were trying to flirt with me but they had to face my ignorance. Blah. I guess I have to tell everyone that I'm gay/lesbian or something. Haha.
5. Kuala Krai is a relatively a small town. Has some small supermarkets and sadly no bowling centre and also no cinema. Guess I have to miss out some great movies until April next year.
6. There have been several H1N1 cases in Kuala Krai. I haven't been able to go check them out because the CDC officers were concerned in case of us getting infected.
7. What else about my new place? I guess that's all.
8. My sister and her family just came back from Scotland for a 2-month break. Can't wait to see em!
9. I'll have to go to a health education program tomorrow morning in a high school somewhere in the area. The program is called Prostar.
10. That's all for now. See you soon.
